Relationships

Prepare and Enrich - Pre-Marriage and Marriage classes are offered once a week for twelve weeks. The couples will learn through groups and individual counseling the steps in building a strong marriage and healthy relationship. The couple will also have an opportunity to learn how to experience God as couples.

Divorce Care- This course will be taught 3 times a year in a quarterly term in a group session to help the divorcee find help, experience healing, and discover hope.

Reassurance of Hope - Services Trauma

Trauma & Crisis Support

Trauma & Crisis Support - One hour one to one Spiritual assessment or evaluation with the clients’ crises concerning their faith and conflicts around their spiritual beliefs.

Grief and Loss - 12-week group sessions to assist persons who are “Journeying through grief” by using a set of four short books that consist of a Time to Grieve, Experiencing Grief, and Finding Hope and Rebuilding and Remembering.

Mental Health Awareness

Mental Health - Mental Health Resources and Referrals -The pandemic has shone a light on the need for mental health, but not everyone has sought treatment. An estimated 24% of adults with a mental illness reported that their illness was not being treated. ROHCC can help improve access to care for people experiencing mental illness. Host events to raise awareness in our community. ROHCC organization is dedicated to reducing public stigma associated with mental illness.

Mental Health First Aid Training - Consist of an 8 hour in person or two-day online training with resources from the National Council for Behavioral Health and Mental Health First Aide USA. In this course you will learn that you are the first line of support for a person in need of assistance who is distressed. You learn how to become the one who makes a difference in the life of someone with a mental health that may be affected by depression, anxiety, trauma, or substance use disorder and addiction, non-suicidal self-injury, psychosis, and eating disorders challenges.

Mental Health First Responder and Coach - Adjusting to Mental Health Support -Once or twice a week extend one to one 30-to-45-minute sessions to counsel when there is someone wary of the system due trauma event that may have a lifetime impact of their overall well-being and their compacity to cope.
